Tequila Jello Shots

Fun, flavorful jello shots infused with tequila, offering a fruity, refreshing bite-sized treat.
Perfect Pair with: Great on their own as a party snack, or served with finger foods like sliders, popcorn chicken, or mozzarella sticks.

Ingredients:

  • 1 envelope unflavoured gelatin powder (1 tablespoon)
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • ½ cup hot water
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup sweet and sour mix
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • ½ cup Cactus Jack Bubblegum or Original Tequila
  • Lime slices, for garnish

Method:

1. Bloom the Gelatin:

  • In a small mixing bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over the cold water.
  • Let it sit for 2 minutes to bloom.

2. Dissolve:

  • While whisking, pour the hot water into the bloomed gelatin and stir until completely dissolved.
  • Add the sugar and whisk until it’s fully dissolved.

3. Mix the Flavours:

  • Stir in the sweet and sour mix, lime juice, and Cactus Jack Tequila. Mix well to combine.

4. Pour & Set:

  • Pour the jello mixture into shooter glasses or small cups, filling them about ¾ full.
  • Transfer to the refrigerator and chill until set, about 2–3 hours.

5. Serve:

  • Once set, garnish each shot with a lime slice.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the burst of flavour!
