Honey Tequila Sour

Smooth, creamy, and slightly tangy, this drink combines honey’s rich sweetness with lemon’s zing, topped with a frothy egg white layer.
Perfect Pair with: Roasted nuts, cheese boards, or seafood pasta.

Ingredients:

  • 60ml Cactus Jack Honey Tequila

  • 30ml lemon juice

  • 7.5ml simple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 1 egg white (optional, for texture)

  • Ice cubes

  • Lemon wedge or cherry, for garnish

Simple Syrup Tip:
Make your own by combining 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Stir over low heat until dissolved.


Method:

  • Add the tequila, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using) into a cocktail shaker.

  • Shake for around 10 seconds without ice to emulsify the egg white and create foam.

  • Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake again for 15–20 seconds to chill and dilute the drink.

  • Strain into a glass and garnish with a lemon wedge or cherry.

  • Sip and savour the sweet, citrusy depth of this bold, honey-infused cocktail.
